About the position

The Home Care Account Manager is responsible for identifying and developing relationships with potential referral sources to enhance the agency's outreach and visibility in the community. This role involves executing a comprehensive outreach plan, presenting home care services to various organizations, and maintaining strong business relationships to drive engagement and referrals.

Responsibilities

  • Identify, evaluate, and prioritize potential referral sources within the agency's territory.
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive outreach plan to increase awareness and drive engagement with referral sources.
  • Establish and maintain strong business relationships with new and existing referral sources.
  • Schedule and present information about home care programs and services to community organizations.
  • Demonstrate thorough knowledge of the agency's vision, mission, values, and services.
  • Research and participate in marketing and networking events to enhance agency visibility.
  • Prepare an annual budget for outreach activities.
  • Provide monthly reports on outreach efforts.

Requirements

  • Ability to travel within five boroughs of New York City 5 days a week.
  • Previous health care marketing experience, preferably in Home Care.
  • Existing contacts and territorial knowledge of the local area and referral sources.
  • Self-driven, positive, organized with strong communication and time management skills.
  • Professional image, behavior, and demeanor at all times.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience obtaining referrals for private pay patients.
