About the position

The Home Care Aide position at A+ Care involves providing compassionate and reliable home health care services to clients in need. The role is designed to assist clients with daily living activities, ensuring their comfort and safety while promoting their overall well-being. This position offers flexible scheduling and the opportunity to work both part-time and full-time hours.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living, including eating, bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Provide medication reminders as per client's care plan.
• Prepare light meals for clients.
• Perform light housekeeping to maintain a clean and safe environment for clients and caregivers.
• Offer companionship and emotional support to clients.
• Accompany clients to medical appointments and outings as needed.

Requirements

• Previous experience in caregiving, preferably in hospitals, clinics, or outpatient facilities.
• Familiarity with geriatric care and medical terminology.
• Knowledge of emergency medicine procedures is a plus.
• Ability to provide compassionate care tailored to individual client needs.
• Excellent organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent is required.
