About the position

Helping U Home Care (HUHC) is seeking a dedicated Human Resources (HR) Specialist to join our exceptional interdisciplinary team of home health care providers. This role is crucial in ensuring that we attract and retain the best talent to uphold our standards and culture. The HR Specialist will be responsible for the full-cycle recruitment process, which includes sourcing candidates, screening resumes, conducting interviews, and facilitating the onboarding process for nursing professionals and home health aides. We are looking for compassionate and well-rounded professionals who can effectively communicate and work collaboratively with our team. In this position, you will utilize various social media platforms and job boards to source candidates, ensuring that we meet the clinical needs of our patients. You will assist in developing job specifications tailored to the specific requirements of our patients, particularly for clinical positions such as Pediatric Day Nursing (PDN) and IV Therapy. Your ability to multi-task and communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, will be essential in this role. You will also be expected to work closely with the HR team to ensure a smooth onboarding process for new hires, helping them integrate into our organization seamlessly. This is an entry-level position that offers growth opportunities within the company. The HR Specialist will work primarily in our Manhattan office, with the potential for a hybrid work model after a six-month review. Responsibilities

  • Recruit and onboard nurse and aide candidates for multiple clinical positions including PDN (vent and trach) & IV Therapy.
  • Assist in developing job specifications based upon HUHC's patients' clinical needs.
  • Source candidates by posting on numerous job boards, using databases, etc.
  • Screen candidate resumes by assessing nurse's skill sets and clinical experience.
  • Conduct interviews and work with HR to onboard nursing and aide candidates.

Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year of home care experience in a health care organization working in either Human Resources or Recruitment.
  • Understanding of full-cycle recruitment (talent sourcing/identifying qualified candidates to interviewing to onboarding in a timely fashion).
  • Knowledge of the On-Boarding Process needed to hire Nurses and Home Health/Personal Care Aides.
  • Ability to multi-task and communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
  • Experienced with Microsoft Office and various ATS Programs.
  • Familiar with social media platforms including Indeed, LinkedIn, Facebook & Twitter.
