About the position

The Home Care Operations Specialist at Alastar Family & Senior Home Care is responsible for supporting the home care operations by coordinating schedules, managing client relationships, and ensuring compliance with industry regulations. This role is essential for maintaining operational efficiency and enhancing the quality of care provided to clients. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, organized, and passionate about improving the lives of others.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and manage client care schedules to ensure optimal service delivery.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, caregivers, and healthcare providers.
  • Monitor and maintain compliance with regulatory standards and company policies.
  • Assist in the training and onboarding of new staff members.
  • Analyze operational data and identify areas for improvement.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with clients and their families.
  • Support administrative functions such as documentation and reporting.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to operational strategy discussions.

Requirements

  • Bilingual English/Spanish (required).
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Management, or a related field (preferred).
  • Previous experience in home care or healthcare operations is a plus.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with scheduling software.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of relevant regulations and compliance requirements is advantageous.
