About the position

As a Sales Director at P&G, you will be stepping into a pivotal role that not only drives retailer growth but also positions P&G brands as leaders in their respective categories. This position offers the unique opportunity to work with billion-dollar brands and represent them to P&G's retailers, playing a crucial role in developing business strategies for global companies. Your proven track record of success, passion for winning, and desire to make a significant impact will be essential in this role. In this capacity, you will take ownership of delivering P&G's in-market strategies while collaborating across multiple product lines, business units, and functions. You will lead and manage within a complex organization, leveraging data insights to craft winning sales propositions tailored for a diverse range of customers. Your responsibilities will include managing and improving distribution, pricing, shelving, and merchandising, ensuring that P&G's products are optimally positioned in the market. Building strong and productive relationships with key customer contacts will be a critical aspect of your role. You will collaborate with these contacts to develop and execute ideal business plans, utilizing analytical tools and data systems to bring consumer insights to life. Additionally, you will be responsible for developing Joint Business Plans with key customers and providing valuable category insights that influence customer strategies. As the primary contact for the customer on all cross-functional business needs, your ability to communicate effectively and adapt your style to various situations will be paramount.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • A minimum of 5-8 years of work experience in a relevant field.
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university, preferably in a business-related discipline.
  • Strong leadership skills with a demonstrated ability to drive results and lead cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving abilities with a track record of making data-driven decisions.
  • Adaptability and a willingness to learn in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills to effectively persuade and influence others.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills to convey complex ideas clearly and concisely.
  • A valid driver's license and willingness to travel as required for the job.
  • Proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and other relevant computer applications.
