About the position

The Home Care Visiting Nurse position at SERA Healthcare Solutions offers an excellent opportunity for registered nurses (RNs) seeking flexibility in their work schedule. This role involves providing care in various locations, including Brooklyn, Bronx, Manhattan, and Queens, allowing RNs to create their own schedules while delivering essential home care services.

Responsibilities

• Conducting field assessments and supervising home health aides.
• Administering medications and treatments as prescribed by the patient's physician and within the State's Scope of Practice for Professional Nursing.
• Adhering to patient care policies and procedures, including the implementation of patient rights and responsibilities.

Requirements

• Current and Valid NYS RN License.
• Must carry Medical Professional Liability coverage.
• Intermediate ability to use computerized systems such as Gmail, Microsoft Word, Excel, HHAeXchange.
• 1+ years of home care experience.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in Home & Community based or Long Term Care services delivery preferred.
