About the position

As a Home Caregiver/Personal Care Worker at ComForCare Home Health Care, you will play a vital role in providing compassionate and personalized care to clients in their homes. This position is designed for individuals who are dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for those who require assistance with daily living activities. You will be responsible for supporting a bedbound patient who requires daily sponge baths, linen changes, and assistance with personal hygiene. Your role will also involve meal preparation, which typically includes simple tasks such as making coffee, sandwiches, or eggs, as well as light housekeeping duties that are performed once a week. The ideal candidate will be available to work flexible 3-hour shifts either in the morning or afternoon from Monday to Friday, ensuring that the patient receives consistent and reliable care. Responsibilities

• Provide daily sponge baths to the patient.
• Change linens and assist with brief changes for the patient.
• Help the patient with log rolling with moderate assistance.
• Put dirty linens in the washer and start a load of laundry.
• Prepare simple meals such as coffee, sandwiches, or eggs.
• Perform light housekeeping duties once a week.

Requirements

• Must have at least 1 year of experience in a caregiving role.
• Ability to work flexible 3-hour shifts in the morning or afternoon, Monday to Friday.
• Compassionate and patient demeanor when working with clients.
