The Home Depot Outside Sales Representative plays a crucial role in promoting and growing the Thomasville and other MasterBrand cabinet lines within Home Depot home improvement stores. This position is focused on capturing market share from existing competitors and driving sales through effective product and sales training, competitive analysis, and training on computer design programs. The representative will be responsible for establishing and maintaining strong relationships with in-store designers, assisting them in closing sales, and ensuring customer satisfaction. The territory for this role encompasses the Chicago, IL area, specifically St. Charles and Vernon Hills, requiring frequent travel to various Home Depot locations. In addition to sales responsibilities, the representative will also train and mentor new Home Depot in-store designers, helping them to understand the MasterBrand product lines and sales techniques. This role requires a proactive approach to managing sales visits to each store in the territory, facilitating issue resolution for unsatisfied customers, and receiving product deliveries in both new and existing stores. The ability to lift up to 40 lbs is necessary for this position, as it may involve handling product shipments. Other duties may be assigned at management's discretion, emphasizing the need for flexibility and adaptability in this role.
