About the position

The Home Energy Auditor position at Dynamic Building & Energy Solutions LLC involves conducting comprehensive residential home energy assessments to help homeowners reduce their carbon footprint and lower utility bills. The role includes leading Weatherization Technicians, analyzing HVAC efficiency, and implementing energy-saving solutions. This full-time position offers year-round work and opportunities for career advancement, supported by training and ongoing coaching.

Responsibilities

• Lead Weatherization Technicians in conducting residential home energy assessments.
• Analyze the efficiency of HVAC equipment and identify areas for improvement.
• Create solutions to enhance energy efficiency, including insulation levels.
• Train in whole house performance metrics such as heat loss and air exchanges.
• Perform air sealing and insulation measures to improve home performance.
• Conduct minor duct repairs and modifications for better airflow.
• Diagnose and report any home efficiency losses.
• Execute home energy improvements to enhance comfort and reduce energy bills.

Requirements

• BPI Certification, Lead RRP, and DOE certification required or 4000 hours of industry experience.
• Valid driver's license with at least three years of clean driving record.
• Reliable transportation to and from the office or job site.
• Ability to work in tight spaces and on ladders, and in adverse weather conditions.
• Solid hand-eye coordination and physical capability to lift and move heavy objects.

Nice-to-haves

• Hands-on insulation work experience.
• Ability to speak, read, and write languages other than English.
