About The Position

As a Home Energy Consultant at Sunnova Energy International, Inc., you will play a crucial role in helping customers transition to solar energy solutions. This position requires a proactive approach to exceed monthly sales quotas while developing a robust Book of Business. You will be responsible for scheduling appointments with potential clients, qualifying prospects, and designing and pricing solar and solar storage systems tailored to their needs. Your expertise will guide customers through the entire process, from contract signing to the post-sales journey, ensuring a seamless experience that fosters customer satisfaction and loyalty. In this role, you will leverage your consulting experience to engage with clients effectively, utilizing consultative sales techniques to understand their energy needs and provide tailored solutions. You will also be expected to maintain accurate records of customer interactions and sales activities using Salesforce CRM, ensuring that all information is up-to-date and accessible. The position may require some overtime based on business needs, and you will work in an open-office environment that encourages collaboration and communication among team members. Your success in this role will depend on your ability to listen actively to customer concerns, handle objections with empathy, and provide clear explanations of solar technology and its benefits. You will also need to stay informed about industry trends and advancements in solar and battery design to offer the best solutions to your clients.
