About the position

The Energy Systems Manager (HESM) at Indigenized Energy will lead the development and maintenance of a comprehensive data infrastructure to support the $135M Solar for All Program across 14 native communities. This role focuses on optimizing home energy systems through data collection, analysis, and reporting, ensuring compliance with federal standards and effective project documentation.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the development, customization, and evolution of data platforms for home energy assessments.
• Provide technical support and training to REMs and on-site staff on data collection methods and client interaction.
• Coordinate the management of data from home assessments, ensuring quality and integrity of data and documentation.
• Develop scopes of work for home energy upgrades based on assessment data for contractor procurement.
• Generate comprehensive reports on project progress and outcomes for stakeholders, including the EPA.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Data Management, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in home energy efficiency programs and data management.
• Knowledge of home energy systems and energy efficiency measures.
• Proficient in data management software platforms.
• Strong technical skills in assessing energy systems and excellent interpersonal skills.
• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office and Google Suite.
• Strong customer service and negotiation skills.
• Self-starter with excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Creative problem-solving abilities.
• Willingness to travel occasionally.

• Experience working with tribal communities.
• Familiarity with federal energy efficiency methodologies.
