About the position
K&B Transportation is seeking experienced truck drivers with a Class A CDL for various pay and hometime options. The company offers three distinct driving options, each with competitive pay rates and guaranteed minimum weekly miles. Drivers can choose between being home every 2 weeks, every 4 weeks, or every 8 weeks, with the opportunity to earn bonuses and enjoy industry-leading pay.
Responsibilities
- Drive a truck to transport freight across designated routes.
- Ensure timely delivery of goods while adhering to safety regulations.
- Maintain accurate logs of driving hours and vehicle inspections.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and other team members.
- Perform routine maintenance checks on the vehicle.
Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL license.
- Minimum of one year of over-the-road (OTR) driving experience.
- Ability to adhere to safety regulations and company policies.
- Strong communication skills.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with late model Freightliner Cascadias.
- Familiarity with Midwest freight lanes.
