About the position

The Home Health Administrative Assistant at Better Care Agency LLC is responsible for providing essential administrative and personal support in a home health environment. This role requires a proactive individual with strong organizational skills and proficiency in computer literacy, particularly in medical administrative support. The assistant will manage various tasks while ensuring a high level of service to clients, including those who speak Spanish.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with administrative tasks including data entry and calendar management.
  • Provide front desk support, greeting visitors and managing communications.
  • Maintain organized records and files, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Proofread documents for clarity and correctness before distribution.
  • Utilize software tools such as QuickBooks for basic financial tracking as needed.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, including those who speak Spanish, to ensure their needs are met.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support household operations.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a medical receptionist or in a similar front desk role is preferred.
  • Strong computer literacy with proficiency in data entry and various software applications.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Attention to detail, particularly in proofreading documents and managing schedules.
  • Ability to communicate fluently in Spanish is a plus but not required.
