The Home Health Aide (HHA)/Caregiver position at Home Helpers involves providing compassionate care and assistance to clients in their homes. Responsibilities
- Assist clients with activities of daily living and personal care such as bathing and dressing.
- Provide companionship care by visiting with clients, reading, or listening to music.
- Perform light housekeeping duties.
- Prepare meals for clients.
- Offer transportation and errand services.
- Complete other job duties as required depending on the client.
Requirements
- Must be willing and able to provide transportation services to patients.
- Must have reliable transportation, a valid driver's license, and proof of auto insurance.
- Patient care skills and familiarity with caregiving practices.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience in caregiving or related fields such as retail, customer service, or medical assistance is a plus but not required.
