About the position

The Home Health Aide (HHA) position at BAYADA Home Health Care involves providing personal care and support to adult clients in various settings, including in-home care and facilities. The role offers flexibility in scheduling and locations, allowing caregivers to choose their preferred work hours and clients. BAYADA also provides training programs for those not yet certified as HHAs.

Responsibilities

• Personal care: bathing, grooming, toileting, feeding
• Ambulation / Transfers / mechanical lift devices / range of motion exercises
• Vital sign checks: temperature, pulse, respiration
• Home management: laundry, meal preparation, bed making, etc.
• Medication assistance

Requirements

• Current Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) license in good standing with the NJ Board of Nursing
• At least 1 year of experience as a companion or CHHA
