About the position

Right at Home is seeking dedicated Home Health Aides (HHA) and Personal Care Aides (PCA) to provide compassionate in-home care for clients in Nassau and Suffolk Counties. The role involves assisting clients with daily living activities and ensuring their comfort and well-being, primarily during overnight shifts.

Responsibilities

• Caring for ill or disabled individuals in their homes.
• Assisting with personal care services such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Providing companionship and emotional support to clients.
• Performing light housekeeping and meal preparation as needed.
• Reminding clients to take their medications.
• Shopping and running errands for clients.

Requirements

• Must have a sympathetic attitude toward the care of the sick.
• Ability to effectively manage the demands of the job.
• Valid driver's license preferred but not required.
• Successful completion of a written competency evaluation and background screening.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English as needed for the job.
• Reliable, caring, compassionate, and mature demeanor.
