About the position

Join a team that's as passionate about patient care as you are! We're looking for Home Health Aides (HHAs) in the Southlake area to serve the needs of our home health patients. As a HHA with NurseCore, you will provide basic patient care in a medical facility or the patient's home. Your extensive daily contact with each patient allows you to play a key role in keeping the nurses up-to-date on vital information about the patients' conditions. You will be responsible for providing quality healthcare to each patient in adherence with all applicable laws, regulations, and policies. Every day is different for our HHAs, and you will have the opportunity to create your own flexible schedule and receive same-day pay, with no catch. In this role, you will evaluate the safety of the delivery of care in the home environment, ensuring compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and policies. You will provide care in compliance with the assigned care plan and RN delegation, recognizing changes in the patient's condition and communicating these changes with the RN supervisor. Your responsibilities will also include providing total or assisted personal care, assistance with meals, mobility assistance, light housekeeping, and companion services. Practicing safety and universal precautions, infection control, and using appropriate protective equipment to protect both patients and yourself is essential. You will also be required to attend and complete all assigned in-services and trainings, as well as perform other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • At least 18 years of age
  • Current CPR in compliance with the American Heart Association standards
  • 1-year experience preferred
