About the position

Right at Home is seeking compassionate and trustworthy Home Health Aides (HHA) and Personal Care Assistants (PCA) to join their dynamic care team. The role involves providing essential in-home care and assistance to clients, ensuring their comfort and well-being. The ideal candidates will be service-minded team players who are dedicated to making a positive impact in the lives of those they care for.

Responsibilities

• Perform personal care activities that assist the patient with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, ambulation, and dressing.
• Prepare meals and snacks according to instructions.
• Accompany patients on errands or medical appointments.
• Perform housekeeping activities such as vacuuming, dusting, and laundry.
• Carry out patient-specific activities as taught by a Right at Home nurse, including medication reminders and assisting with prescribed exercises.

Requirements

• High school graduate or G.E.D. certificate preferred.
• Valid Home Health Aide or Personal Care Aide Certificate.
• One year of experience as a Caregiver/Home Health Aide in healthcare (in homes or facilities).
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English as needed for the job.
• Possess a valid driver's license and insured automobile.
