About the position

The Home Health Account Executive - Clinical is responsible for marketing healthcare services to various referral sources, including doctors' offices, hospitals, and assisted living facilities. This role focuses on building relationships, educating potential customers, and achieving the company's financial and market share goals. The position requires a significant amount of fieldwork, allowing for autonomy and flexibility in scheduling.

Responsibilities

  • Market healthcare services to doctors' offices, hospitals, nursing facilities, and assisted living facilities.
  • Educate and present to referral sources about the company's services.
  • Conduct in-services, presentations, and educational luncheons.
  • Host and attend relevant community events to promote home health care services.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with referral sources and in-house staff.
  • Prospect for new accounts while maintaining current accounts.
  • Consult regularly with the Administrator on marketing and sales activities.
  • Coordinate and complete on-site discharge planning when needed.
  • Design a regular schedule of visits to referral sources in the defined market area.
  • Participate in the HHA's QAPI program.

Requirements

  • Current licensed LPN or RN in the state of employment
  • At least 2 years of healthcare, home health, or hospice sales experience
  • Licensed clinical experience preferred
  • Established community relationships and connections
  • Excellent people and relationship skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and in groups
  • Enthusiastic and highly motivated personality
  • Knowledgeable regarding standards of practice for all services offered
  • Valid driver's license and evidence of automobile insurance
  • Ability to travel to multiple job sites and attend required meetings
  • Strong critical thinking and strategic sales skills
