About the position

The Community Outreach and Marketing Coordinator at Homewatch CareGivers is responsible for generating revenue through field sales efforts, focusing on building relationships with referral sources in the healthcare sector. This role involves executing marketing strategies, managing outreach activities, and ensuring high-quality customer service while promoting the agency's services. The position offers a supportive team environment and opportunities for professional growth through comprehensive training.

Responsibilities

  • Developing and executing a field sales plan to meet or exceed growth targets.
  • Identifying, evaluating, and prioritizing potential referral sources within the agency's territory.
  • Establishing and maintaining professional relationships with referral sources such as hospitals and skilled nursing facilities.
  • Representing the agency and its services in a professional manner at trade shows and community events.
  • Preparing weekly reports of marketing and sales activity.
  • Attending weekly growth meetings and collaborating with agency management and staff.

Requirements

  • Two years of sales experience, preferably in healthcare or related fields.
  • Experience working with physicians, hospice case managers, and social workers.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to work independently and be accountable for results.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in hospice and palliative care services.
  • Experience in creating and executing email marketing campaigns.
  • Knowledge of performance marketing and e-commerce best practices.
