About the position
We are seeking a Home Manager to oversee the daily operations and management of a Home Health Agency. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth functioning of the caregivers and providing support to the patients. This role requires fluency in both Hindi and English to effectively communicate with staff and patients alike. The Home Manager will play a crucial role in coordinating caregiver schedules, overseeing salaries, and maintaining compliance with daily documentation of caregiver tasks. Additionally, the candidate will be responsible for coordinating maintenance and repairs for the property, planning and organizing household events and activities, and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards. Regular weekly and monthly visits to observe caregivers and patients will be essential, along with providing coaching to caregivers to enhance their performance and service delivery.
Responsibilities
- Manage Caregivers staff and coordinate their schedules
- Oversee Caregivers salaries
- Maintain the agency's compliance with daily documentation of Caregiver's tasks
- Coordinate maintenance and repairs for the property
- Plan and organize household events and activities
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards
- Conduct weekly and monthly visits to observe the Caregiver and Patient
- Provide coaching to Caregivers
Requirements
- Fluency in Hindi and English
- Proficiency in home management systems
- Knowledge of medical collection procedures
- Knowledge of Caregiver protocol
- Familiarity with health information management
- Understanding of medical terminology
- Ability to operate phone systems effectively
- Experience with computerized systems for home health management
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations
- Familiarity with ICD-10 coding
- Previous experience in a Home Health setting
- Proficient in 10-key typing for data entry tasks
