About the position

The Director of Clinical Operations is a leadership role responsible for overseeing the operational efficiency of the organization, particularly in healthcare management within assisted living, home health, and hospice care. The position requires a strong understanding of healthcare regulations, resident rights, and the ability to manage teams effectively to ensure high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage daily operations across all departments to ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.
• Develop and implement operational policies and procedures that promote resident rights and enhance patient care.
• Collaborate with nursing management to ensure effective delivery of acute care services.
• Oversee staff training programs to ensure all team members are knowledgeable in medical terminology and physiology relevant to their roles.
• Foster a culture of leadership within the organization by mentoring managers and promoting professional development.
• Monitor performance metrics to identify areas for improvement in service delivery and operational efficiency.
• Ensure that all operational activities align with the organization's mission and strategic goals.

Requirements

• Proven experience in healthcare operations management, preferably in assisted living or home health settings.
• Strong knowledge of resident rights, acute care practices, hospice care, and nurse management principles.
• Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and drive change effectively.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on collaboration across various departments.
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements governing healthcare operations is essential.
