About the position

The Community Liaison for Chemik Healthcare Services is responsible for promoting home health services throughout Houston. This role involves establishing and maintaining public relations, educating the community about the agency's offerings, and building relationships with potential referral sources such as healthcare professionals and community organizations. The position requires knowledge of home health regulations and the ability to effectively communicate the benefits of the agency's services.

Responsibilities

• Establish and develop public relations about the services offered by the Agency.
• Educate the community on the types of services offered and their advantages.
• Make appointments with healthcare professionals and community organizations to promote services.
• Provide literature and promotional items to potential referral sources.
• Adhere to all applicable Home Health Agency laws and regulations.

Requirements

• Minimum of one year of experience as a community liaison.
• Knowledge of Home Health Agency laws and regulations in Texas.
• Ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in home health services (2 years preferred).
