About the position

Amazing Care Home Health is seeking motivated Licensed Vocational Nurses (LVNs) with experience in Pediatric Home Health to provide private duty nursing care to pediatric patients in their homes. This role allows for flexible shift lengths, accommodating both short 4-hour shifts and longer 12-hour days, ensuring that nurses can work in a manner that best suits their family needs. The position emphasizes the importance of providing consistent care to one patient per shift, fostering a supportive environment for both the nurse and the patient.

Responsibilities

• Provide private duty nursing care to pediatric patients in their homes.
• Administer medication, treatments, and therapies as prescribed by the physician.
• Monitor patient's condition and report any changes to the healthcare team.
• Assist with activities of daily living and provide emotional support to patients and their families.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care.
• Maintain accurate and complete medical records using web-based electronic medical records system.

Requirements

• Active LVN License.
• Current BLS Certification.
• Valid Driver's License and Vehicle Insurance.
• Strong time management and prioritization skills.
• Excellent assessment skills and attention to detail.
