Responsibilities

• Assess and evaluate patient care needs related to functional status, mobility, endurance, pain, and other medical conditions.
• Develop and implement treatment plans based on patient assessments.
• Perform interventions aimed at improving and enhancing the patient's well-being.
• Evaluate the patient's progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
• Assist physicians in developing therapy plans of care.
• Observe and report patient responses to treatment and any changes in condition to the supervising nurse or physician.
• Instruct and inform healthcare team members, patients, and caregivers regarding the plan of care and progress toward goals.

Requirements

• Current Physical Therapy licensure in the state of Florida.
• Current CPR certification.
• Must have a current driver's license and vehicle insurance, and access to a dependable vehicle.
