About the position
The Clinical Director for Home Health at LHC Group in Clifton, NJ is responsible for overseeing and directing patient care operations within the home care facility. This role emphasizes leadership, strategic planning, and compliance with healthcare regulations to ensure high-quality care for patients and their families.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and direct patient care operations of the home care facility.
- Coordinate and complete assigned projects to support company objectives.
- Ensure eligibility of patients referred to home care services.
- Plan and supervise total home health care services provided to patients.
- Implement and maintain administrative practices and agency policies to ensure compliance with regulations.
- Enhance the profitability of the agency.
- Motivate and retain qualified staff while assuring quality of services delivered.
- Act as a liaison with management staff and other departments.
Requirements
- Current RN licensure in the state of NJ (if Clinical Director is an RN).
- Current CPR certification required.
- Current applicable license in the state (if Clinical Director is PT/OT/SLP).
- One year of supervisory and/or management experience in a home health or related healthcare setting preferred.
- Current Driver's License and vehicle insurance, and access to a dependable vehicle or public transportation.
