About the position
The RN Clinical Management Specialist is a key professional responsible for collaborating with Home Health and Hospice leadership to plan, coordinate, and deliver quality services to clients. This hybrid role involves both in-office training and clinical support across various locations in Florida, requiring weekly travel to multiple sites. The specialist will also provide interim clinical leadership and training for new and existing staff.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and assess company electronic medical records (EMR) workflows and assist as needed or assigned.
- Provide support with the intake process and admission decisions.
- Facilitate virtual training for newly hired, rehired, or promoted Clinical Managers and Nurses.
- Serve as interim Clinical Manager when the position is vacant.
- Act as a mentor for new Clinical Managers.
Requirements
- Registered Nurse with an active and unencumbered license in the state of residence.
- Expertise and experience with the Homecare Homebase (HCHB) EMR system.
- Three (3) years of clinical experience within the last five (5) years in a home health agency, home care setting, or health facility.
- Valid and acceptable driver's license with proof of automobile insurance coverage.
