About the position

The Home Health Account Executive is responsible for marketing healthcare services to various referral sources, including doctors' offices, hospitals, and assisted living facilities. The role focuses on building relationships, educating potential customers, and achieving financial and market share goals for the company. This position offers autonomy and flexibility, requiring significant time spent in the field rather than behind a desk.

Responsibilities

  • Market healthcare services to doctors' offices, hospitals, nursing facilities, and assisted living facilities.
  • Educate and present to referral sources about the company's services.
  • Conduct in-services, presentations, and educational luncheons.
  • Host and attend relevant community events to promote home health care services.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with referral sources and in-house staff.
  • Prospect for new accounts while maintaining current accounts.
  • Consult regularly with the Administrator on marketing and sales activities.
  • Design a regular schedule of visits to referral sources in a defined market area.
  • Develop sales strategies and evaluate marketing activities.

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of healthcare sales experience, preferably in home health or hospice.
