About the position

The Team Coordinator Scheduler at Aveanna Healthcare plays a crucial role in supporting the clinical operations and management staff within the home health care team. This full-time position involves scheduling clinicians, managing office communications, and ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations while providing excellent customer service to clients and employees.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist clients, employees, and the general public upon entering the office.
• Provide daily analytical support and validation through the EMR system (Homecare Homebase).
• Schedule clinicians and notify physicians of care changes.
• Perform pre-bill auditing and send patient instructions.
• Verify receipt of proper documentation and follow up as necessary with clinicians, clients, and families.
• Manage office calls, correspondence, and meetings.
• Monitor office supply levels and provide customer support.
• Support ongoing client and employee requests, including staff scheduling and processing of client files.
• Work collaboratively with all branches and home office to ensure seamless coordination and service.
• Participate in staff meetings and meet regularly with branch management for supervision.
• Comply with HIPAA and Data Privacy Practices.

Requirements

• Proficient with Microsoft Suite.
• Customer service experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Nice-to-haves

• Prior scheduling experience in Home Health.
• Prior scheduling experience in Long-Term Care (LTC).
• Demonstrated proficiency in clinical assessments and compliance with policies and procedures.
