About the position

HOMEWORX Professional Services is seeking a highly experienced Home Improvement Specialist/Finished Carpenter/Team Leader to join their growing team in Lakewood Ranch, FL. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10 years of verifiable carpentry experience and will be responsible for leading a team while exceeding customer expectations and ensuring high-quality workmanship.

Responsibilities

• Lead and train employees in various carpentry tasks.
• Exceed customer expectations in all projects.
• Demonstrate attention to detail in all work.
• Manage time effectively and adapt to changes in the work environment.
• Communicate solidly throughout the workday with team members.
• Work side by side with the team to complete projects.

Requirements

• Minimum of 10 years of verifiable carpentry experience.
• Experience in fine trim and finished carpentry.
• Experience in framing, including fireplace entertainment walls and custom built-ins.
• Ability to fabricate, design, and install free floating shelves.
• Experience in tile installations and drywall repairs.
• Proficient in interior painting and crown/base molding installations.
• Basic plumbing and light fixture installation skills.
• Experience in luxury vinyl plank laminate and wood flooring installations.
• Ability to install and replace interior doors and cabinets.
• Experience in full kitchen and bath remodeling projects.

Nice-to-haves

• Fluency in Spanish is highly preferred.
