About the position
The Home Infusion Nurse position at A&G Infusion Services Inc. involves providing specialized nursing services for home IV infusion therapy. The role focuses on administering various medications and educating patients on self-administration techniques, ensuring high-quality care in a home setting.
Responsibilities
- Provide infusion therapy nursing services to patients in their homes.
- Administer medications including antibiotics, TPN, IVIG, and other specialty medications.
- Perform blood draws and educate patients on self-administration of medication.
- Insert peripheral IVs, port-a-caths, and PICC/central lines.
Requirements
- Valid RN License
- BLS Certification
- ACLS Certification
- Experience with IV infusion and insertion
- Acute care experience
- Associate's degree in Nursing (preferred)
- 1 year of nursing experience (preferred)
- 1 year of acute care experience (preferred)
Nice-to-haves
- Experience in home health nursing
- Additional certifications in infusion therapy
