About the position
We are seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to join our Home Plus team in Wichita, KS. The ideal candidate will provide direct patient care and support our medical staff in delivering excellent patient services. This role involves assisting nurses, performing residential duties, and ensuring the well-being of residents through compassionate care.
Responsibilities
- Assist nurses in patient care procedures
- Perform residential duties including light housekeeping and laundry
- Take vital signs and document patient information accurately
- Administer medications as directed by healthcare providers
- Assist residents with bathing and restroom daily living activities
- Provide support and care for residents by following the individual care plan
Requirements
- Must have a valid Certified Medical Assistant certification in the state of Kansas
- Proficiency in medication administration
- Ability to perform vital sign measurements accurately
- Ability to perform daily living activities including housekeeping, meal prep and cooking, laundry etc.
- Ability to provide compassionate and kind interactions with residents and their guests
