About the position

As a Home Provider in Hall County, NE, you will share your home with individuals with disabilities, ensuring a safe, supportive, and healthy environment. This role involves assisting with daily living tasks, promoting life skills, and fostering independence through community engagement. Responsibilities

• Provide support for tasks such as cooking, cleaning, laundry, budgeting, decision-making, etc.
• Assist with skill acquisition and medication administration.
• Support individuals with medical appointments and overall health and well-being.
• Document daily activities via a web-based case management application (THERAP).
• Provide fun and leisure experiences to promote community inclusion and socialization.
• Ensure compliance with all state and agency policies and procedures.
• Communicate effectively with team members as needed.
• Support the physical needs of the individual served.
• Provide transportation as needed.
• Assist with bathing, toileting, feeding, and behavioral support if required.
• Support medical protocols, such as seizure management, fall prevention, and feeding tube care.

Requirements

• Must be a resident of Nebraska.
• Must own or rent your own home/apartment/condo/townhouse.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Reliable computer and internet access is required.
• Ability to pass State/Federal and APS/CPS background check.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in caregiving preferred but not required.
• Active home/renters insurance.
