Responsibilities

  • Understand Orkin's termite protection services and make strategic recommendations to customers.
  • Perform 360 inspections from attics to crawlspaces to identify pest issues.
  • Build trusted relationships with customers by solving problems and providing practical solutions.
  • Conduct oneself with professionalism and integrity in all interactions with customers and coworkers.
  • Utilize in-depth training to recommend the best pest solutions for each customer's needs.
  • Achieve sales goals through prospecting new business and following up on assigned leads.
  • Schedule sales appointments and meet with potential customers in their homes to explain Orkin's products and services.
  • Inspect the interior and exterior of customers' homes and make recommendations based on findings.
  • Prepare sales agreements using an iPad provided by the company and stay organized.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Valid driver's license required.
  • Ability to obtain the appropriate pesticide license/certification (company paid).
  • Ability to work independently in the field and interact with clients.
  • Meet physical job requirements, including safely using a ladder, lifting up to 50 lbs, and accessing confined spaces.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in sales or customer service is a plus but not required.
