About the position

The Home Technology (Outside) Sales Representative at Vector Security is responsible for driving sales by prospecting new clients and maintaining relationships with existing ones. This role involves meeting sales quotas, inspecting client premises, designing system requirements, and providing exceptional customer service throughout the sales process. The representative will also demonstrate security systems and ensure client satisfaction through follow-ups and final walkthroughs.

Responsibilities

  • Meet or exceed monthly and annual sales quotas.
  • Prospect for new clients and establish mutually beneficial relationships with existing clients to obtain referrals.
  • Inspect and review physical premises, design system requirements in accordance with client's needs.
  • Prepare documents according to established company guidelines.
  • Close sales and offer exceptional customer service & follow-up.
  • Monitor job progress and demonstrate operation of security systems, including a final 'walk-through' with clients.

Requirements

  • 1-Year Prospecting Sales experience
  • 1-Year Outside Sales experience
  • High School diploma or GED
  • Sales ability/persuasiveness
  • Self-starter
