About the position

The Honda Rotational Accounting Development Program (HRAD) is designed for 2025 graduates who are eager to develop their accounting skills through a structured rotation across various accounting functions within Honda. This program aims to cultivate a deep understanding of Honda's accounting practices, financial planning, and cost management while fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.

Responsibilities

• Rotate through various job responsibilities within Honda in accounting areas such as Record to Report, Order to Cash, and Requisition to Payment.
• Develop understanding of Honda accounting policy, practices, and standards.
• Develop basic skills for Plan-Do-Check-Act (PDCA), problem-solving, and decision management.
• Understand capital investment and manpower/labor expense process flows.
• Prepare journal entries for financial transactions and reconciliations of balance sheet accounts.
• Prepare analysis of financial information for decision support to management.
• Monitor and track financial performance of various operation divisions of Honda.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Highly self-motivated and organized.
• Strong Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills.
• Understanding of US-GAAP and IFRS accounting standards.
• Good understanding of financial statements.

Nice-to-haves

• Two (2) years or less of experience.
• Co-op/Internship experience.
• Willingness to relocate to various Honda locations throughout North America.
