The Associate School Athletic Director at Farrington High School plays a crucial role in supporting the School Athletic Director in managing the school's athletic programs. This position is a limited term temporary appointment, which means that probationary service credit and tenure are not granted. The Associate Athletic Director will assist in developing the school athletic budget, ensuring compliance with departmental rules and regulations, and maintaining accurate financial records. They will also be responsible for inventory management of supplies and equipment, making recommendations for replacements or purchases, and ensuring that the athletic program adheres to Title IX and other relevant laws and regulations. In addition to financial oversight, the Associate Athletic Director will promote high standards of conduct and sportsmanship among student-athletes, assist in implementing policies to curb student violence, and prepare eligibility lists for sports participation. They will also organize athletic awards programs, assist in staff onboarding, and may provide training workshops for coaches.
