Responsibilities
- Use tools and equipment to assemble and test hose assemblies according to customer specifications.
- Select correct raw materials and cut hoses to the proper length.
- Crimp specified fittings in their proper orientation.
- Clean and test hoses to meet customer specifications.
- Maintain traceability and records on quality forms and work orders.
- Operate lifting equipment, hose saws, crimping machines, and power tools.
- Package hoses for shipment and maintain a clean work area.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Technical knowledge of hydraulic hoses and fittings is essential.
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical documents and procedures.
- Good physical dexterity and ability to perform manual tasks.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience in a warehouse environment.
- Familiarity with safety protocols and personal protective equipment (PPE).
