About the position

The Hospice Account Executive at Well Care Hospice, Inc. is responsible for driving admissions and increasing public awareness of hospice services within a designated territory. This role involves building and maintaining relationships with referral sources, implementing marketing strategies, and achieving individual admissions goals. The position requires effective organization, communication, and teamwork to enhance agency performance and customer loyalty.

Responsibilities

• Meets or exceeds individual admissions goals for assigned territory.
• Increases public awareness of the agency through marketing and sales initiatives.
• Maintains effective relationships with area referral sources.
• Organizes and performs work effectively and efficiently to enhance team performance.
• Demonstrates positive interpersonal relations with all members of the agency.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required; Associate or Bachelor's degree preferred.
• LPN or RN license preferred if health system based.
• Three years of sales/marketing experience, preferably in health care.
• Proven track record of effectively increasing business.
• Current knowledge of home health and/or hospice practice and Medicare coverage guidelines preferred.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in customer service, community relations, or physician relations.
• Ability to speak clearly and effectively before small and large groups.
