About the position

The Hospice Chaplain at Lifelong Hospice Care Inc. is responsible for providing spiritual care and emotional support to patients and their families during end-of-life experiences. This role involves conducting spiritual assessments, collaborating with an interdisciplinary team, and ensuring that patients receive holistic care tailored to their unique needs.

Responsibilities

• Conduct spiritual assessments and evaluations for patients in the Camarillo, CA area.
• Provide compassionate and culturally sensitive spiritual care to patients and their families.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to address the emotional and spiritual needs of patients.
• Offer grief support and counseling as needed.
• Document all interactions and interventions accurately.

Requirements

• Experience as a Hospice Chaplain.
• Completion of a Master's degree in Divinity, Theology, or a related field.
• Certification or licensure as a Chaplain preferred.
• Demonstrated understanding of hospice philosophy and the unique needs of individuals at the end of life.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
