The Hospice Chaplain provides Spiritual Care within the local ministry, focusing on the spiritual needs of patients, families, and colleagues. This role involves addressing spiritual distress, grief support, and crisis intervention, while being an integrated member of the healthcare team. The Chaplain develops and participates in spiritual care programs, ensuring the inclusion of faith leaders in the care process. Reporting to the Manager of Spiritual Care, the Chaplain is responsible for delivering transformative spiritual care experiences and documenting assessments and interventions in the electronic medical record.
