About the position

The Hospice Community Liaison/Marketer is responsible for the marketing and outreach efforts of Affinity Hospice Management LLC. This role involves establishing and maintaining positive relationships with customers and referral sources, organizing community events, and representing the organization at various functions. The position requires a proactive approach to marketing initiatives and a comprehensive understanding of the hospice care market.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily marketing activities in collaboration with the Administrator.
• Monitor allocation of resources according to budgetary limitations.
• Conduct market assessments and develop a comprehensive marketing plan to meet budgetary volume projections.
• Employ marketing and promotional initiatives to achieve budgetary volume projections.
• Establish and maintain positive working relationships with current and potential referral and payer sources.
• Build and monitor community, customer, and patient perceptions of Affinity Care as a high-quality provider of services.
• Contribute to the organization's strategic planning by identifying opportunities for additional or improved services.
• Maintain comprehensive knowledge of Affinity Care markets, including government agencies and major payer groups.
• Assist customers in accessing community resources not provided by Affinity Care Management.
• Monitor and report on the cost-effectiveness of marketing efforts.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
• At least three (3) years' experience in health care marketing management, preferably in hospice care operations.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and public relations skills.
• Ability to market aggressively and deal tactfully with customers and the community.
• Demonstrates autonomy, organization, assertiveness, flexibility, and cooperation.
