About the position

The Hospice Community Liaison at Peaceful Purpose Hospice of GA LLC is responsible for developing and maintaining positive relationships with healthcare professionals, including doctors and nursing facilities, to promote hospice services. This role involves educating the community about hospice care, conducting sales calls, and attending trade shows to generate referrals and meet sales goals. The liaison plays a crucial role in ensuring that patients and their families receive the support and care they need during challenging times.

Responsibilities

• Develop positive working relationships with doctors, nursing facilities, and hospitals that refer clients to hospice.
• Communicate the benefits of hospice services to healthcare professionals and families.
• Educate the community about hospice services and resources available.
• Conduct sales calls to existing and potential referral sources.
• Interact with healthcare professionals daily to promote hospice services.
• Attend trade shows to create additional business opportunities.
• Maintain a sales territory and identify new opportunities to meet monthly sales goals.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or nursing is preferred.
• 3 years of experience in healthcare sales is required.
• 1 year of experience in hospice or related fields is required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
• Strong problem-solving skills with impressive follow-through are necessary.
• Familiarity with local senior support resources and advanced directives is important.
• Proficient in fundamental computer skills and knowledge of basic business software is required.

• Experience in hospice, home health, or post-acute care is a plus.
