About the position

The Executive Director - RN at Community Loving Care Hospice is responsible for overseeing all aspects of patient care and the operations of the hospice agency. This role involves leadership, compliance with regulations, financial performance management, and quality assurance. The Executive Director will engage with diverse teams, create strategies for best-in-class patient care, and ensure a work-life balance for staff. Responsibilities

• Supervise all aspects of patient care and activities of professional staff and allied health personnel.
• Ensure compliance with all regulations, laws, policies, and procedures applicable to hospice and Medicare/Medicaid.
• Direct daily operations of the agency and act as the Care Management Process driver.
• Review patient care paperwork, referral information, recertification processes, discharge information, and event reporting daily.
• Review monthly financial results to assure quality patient care is delivered cost-effectively.
• Participate in QAPI planning and processes, reporting, and improvement action plans.

Requirements

• Must be a licensed registered nurse (RN) or have a Bachelor's degree with at least three years of documented success in a relevant field.
• Minimum of one year of full-time experience in a hospice, home health, or other healthcare delivery system setting.
• Three years of healthcare leadership experience preferred.
• Current CPR certification required for Executive Directors who may provide services to patients in the field.
• Current Driver's License and vehicle insurance, and access to a dependable vehicle or public transportation.
