About the position
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Hospice Nurse to join our team at Mi Casa Healthcare. The ideal candidate will provide quality end-of-life care to patients and support to their families during a challenging time, ensuring comfort and dignity in their final days.
Responsibilities
- Conduct patient assessments and develop individualized care plans
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Monitor patient conditions and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team
- Provide emotional support and guidance to patients and families
- Ensure comfort and dignity for patients in their final days
- Educate patients and families on end-of-life care options
Requirements
- Registered Nurse (RN) license in Texas
- Experience in hospice or palliative care is a plus
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to provide compassionate care to patients and families
- Knowledge of pain management and symptom control
- Understanding of end-of-life ethical issues
