About the position

KPG Healthcare is seeking an experienced Hospice Registered Nurse for a travel assignment in Oakland, CA. This role involves providing care to patients in a home health setting, requiring a compassionate and skilled nurse to manage a caseload of 5-6 patients per day. Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to hospice patients in their homes.
• Manage a caseload of 5-6 patients per day.
• Coordinate with healthcare teams to ensure quality patient care.
• Document patient progress and care plans accurately.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.

Requirements

• Active RN License for California.
• 1 or more years of Home Health experience required.
• BLS Certification.
• Experience with Homecare Homebase is required.
• IV start experience is highly desirable.

Nice-to-haves

• BSN or Associate's degree in Nursing.
• Experience in hospice care.
