About the position
The Hospital at Home RN position involves providing high-quality nursing care to patients in their homes as part of an innovative care model. This role allows nurses to work outside of traditional hospital settings while still delivering essential medical services. The Field RN will collaborate with a team of clinicians to manage patient care, ensuring that those who meet inpatient criteria receive appropriate treatment in a home environment. This dynamic role requires strong clinical skills, effective communication, and adaptability to meet the needs of patients and the demands of the job.
Responsibilities
- Provide hands-on nursing care to patients in their homes.
- Collaborate with virtual colleagues including Command Center RNs and MDs.
- Manage patient care for those meeting inpatient criteria in a home setting.
- Utilize medical equipment and provide diagnostics in the home environment.
- Ensure high patient satisfaction and positive health outcomes.
Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
- Valid Washington or Oregon Registered Nurse License upon hire.
- National Provider BLS certification from the American Heart Association upon hire.
- 1 year of nursing experience.
Nice-to-haves
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
- 3 years of IV/Infusion skills experience.
- Recent Home Health experience.
- Point of Care experience.
