About the position

The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) will lead the fiscal departments of a well-established community hospital in Idaho, reporting directly to the CEO. This role is critical for overseeing financial policies, accounting, insurance, systems, controls, and auditing within the hospital. The CFO will manage a team of experienced professionals, ensuring the financial health and operational efficiency of the hospital while contributing to its mission of providing comprehensive healthcare services.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all fiscal departments within the hospital.
• Administer hospital policies on finance, accounting, insurance, systems, controls, and auditing.
• Lead and support teams of staff accountants, actuaries, and EMR specialists.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
• Develop and implement financial strategies to enhance the hospital's financial performance.

Requirements

• Senior level leadership experience in a hospital setting.
• Previous experience in a critical access hospital.
• Strong knowledge of finance, accounting, and auditing practices.
