About the position

The Associate Program Director of the Family Medicine Residency program is a leadership role focused on educating and preparing community-based physicians to serve rural populations. This position combines both clinical and administrative responsibilities, with a significant emphasis on preceptorship and resident supervision, while also providing outpatient care.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and administer the Family Medicine Residency program.
  • Provide outpatient care one day per week.
  • Conduct hospital rotations one week per month, supervising inpatient Family Medicine service.
  • Engage in joint injections, dermatology procedures, and OMT as needed.
  • Lead and mentor residents in a patient-centered environment.

Requirements

  • Board Certified in Family Medicine.
  • Experience in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
  • Comfortable with joint injections, dermatology procedures, and OMT.
  • Strong leadership skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in residency program administration.
  • Familiarity with rural healthcare challenges.
