The Hospital Operations Coordinator plays a crucial role in overseeing daily operations within the hospital, particularly in the absence of the Operations Manager - Hospital. This position is responsible for ensuring that all operational metrics outlined in the contracted agreement are met, while also contributing to team building among the ASSET360 full-time equivalents (FTEs). The coordinator will work closely with the Hospital Quality Control (HQC) team to ensure that all equipment is functioning optimally and will assist in managing the flow of equipment, redirecting and allocating resources as necessary. Maintaining an adequate inventory of equipment and supplies is essential to support an effective Asset Management Program. In addition to operational oversight, the coordinator will investigate nursing staff concerns and identify opportunities for improvement, implementing appropriate actions in a professional manner. A basic understanding of the existing contract between the company and the customer is required, as the coordinator will facilitate discussions regarding this document. The role also involves supervising HST personnel, which includes training, conducting performance reviews, and engaging in corrective action plans when necessary. The coordinator will help establish reporting requirements and direct the career development of staff. The coordinator will manage staffing schedules based on equipment volume and promote cooperation among various shifts to foster a positive team environment. Delivering a dedicated and harmonious working atmosphere is a priority, with a focus on staff retention. The coordinator will facilitate and educate staff using the HST training manual and provide ongoing supervision of HST personnel in daily operations. Coaching staff in problem-solving, effective communication, and conflict resolution is also a key responsibility. The coordinator will work with the Operations Manager - Hospital to develop career path opportunities for all FTEs and provide leadership in training and education regarding ASSET360 policies and best practices. Additionally, the coordinator will assist with daily tasks such as patient rounds, equipment deliveries, and cleaning processes as needed, along with any other duties assigned.
